Great location for starting the Camino to Fisterra or Muxia, with historical buildings nearby. Comfortable rooms, with private rooms and dormitories available.- Polite and accommodating owner and staff.- Possibility of a meal even for late arrivals.- They can arrange dinner next door, which has been excellent.- Convenient amenities such as a washer and dryer.

Some cleanliness issues, such as uncleaned upper bunk bed mattresses and stained towels. Shower holder and light in the shower not functioning properly.

I had a wonderful stay at this albergue. the private room was clean, cozy, and had great heating that I could control from the room. This was a huge plus on a cold night on the Camino. the location was also very convenient, allowing me to make an early morning start the next day. the albergue next door, which was conveniently arranged through San Mamede, served a friendly and well-priced dinner. the host, Manuel, provided a kind and welcoming atmosphere. Despite being too tired to speak, he made me feel at ease and we had a lovely conversation. It's a genuine place with heart and kindness for pilgrims, and the evening meal was beautiful. Cons: Nothing, all great! 😊.

Jaw-droppingly beautiful estate on the Camino with comfy rooms and spotlessly clean bathrooms. Super helpful staff and even got to take a photo on one of the horses! Loved the nearby cafe for tasty meals and an early morning caffeine boost before my hike. Beds were great, showers were nice, and the owner spoke English and German! Incredibly kind owner who offered a tour of the church and a glass of wine. Excellent renovation and a warm fire made for a delightful stay. Loved the bonus of heating in the room to dry my gear and the availability of washing and drying facilities. The communal Camino Meal at the nearby bar/restaurant was mind-blowingly good and a highlight of my journey. Fantastic value for money and the location right on the Camino was a very welcome sight.

My recent stay at Albergue Rectoral was fantastic. I had the pleasure of staying in one of their single rooms, which was beautifully renovated and had stunning views of the countryside. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was enjoying a delicious 'Camino Meal' at the bar and restaurant next door, where I connected with fellow travelers from all over the world. The value for money was exceptional, and the wine selection was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone walking the Camino de Santiago. a truly amazing experience.

We had a beautiful experience at this charming old stone building. The wood burning stove in the lounge created a cozy ambiance and warmed us up after our chilly walk on the Camino. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the showers had plenty of space. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The communal pilgrim dinner was arranged for us and filled with delicious food and laughter with other pilgrims. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

the dorm for pilgrims had individual curtains, lights, and sockets near each bed, along with hot water. the Albergue has recently refurbished a lovely house next door, where I stayed in a private room with a bathroom. the room was beautifully decorated, fresh, and clean, offering a lovely view. the Pelegrino dinner was delicious and abundant, and the breakfast was served early, at 7 am, perfect for starting the day's journey. There was a convenient set-up behind the building for hand washing and drying clothes. Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike about the experience.
